The restaurant here was good with first class locally sourced food, we both ordered fresh dishes. The venue's position was central. The staff was pleasant, always on hand when needed.

This was a pleasant and absolutely fantastic hotel with a central location at the edge of the village of Killin by the bridge. Got a well-heated single room with a large bathroom when I arrived, loved that.

We had a nice dinner at the hotel's restaurant one night, which was enjoyable. We intended to hire a bike, however the weather deterred us. The rates for cycle hire are very reasonable though, and Booked.neting is also available. We took walks through the fields, saw the McNab burial ground in Killin and drove up through the Glen of Lyons and saw the Castle of Menzies. All very good. The breakfasts were also of a high quality and delicious.
The bar could be a bit quiet at night, a bit of music could have made it a little more lively. A slight walk into Killin itself, about 25 mins, which was off putting in the rain!

Excellent staff, friendly and took care of all our needs. Beautiful location, our room looked over the river and bridge. Nice woodsy feel. Atmosphere in the pub/lounge was mellow, great for sitting and having a beer and chatting. Spacious and comfy "residents lounge". There were also a lot of little details in the rooms - little vases, artsy things, made it feel like home. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues which were taken care of efficiently. We liked being "away from the town", the hotel is about 2 miles outside of town, so it felt like a private hideaway even though the hotel was completely booked.

A hidden gem of a hotel. Particularly impressed with the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. For a small village Killin has a lot going for it. Lovely walks in the area and golf across the road. The Falls of Duchart are stunning when the river is in spate (whit was during our visit).

Unpretentious and interestingly old. Comfortable and friendly
It rained most of the time we were with you but that was hardly your fault.

The hotel staff were attentive and professional in all areas of the hotel. We enjoyed a drink in the garden before dinner whilst our boys played in the garden. We then had a delicious 3 course meal and wine, followed by a relaxing drink in the residents lounge whilst catching up with the olympics. Breakfast was cooked to order in the morning, the porridge was delicious. We had a family room for us & 2 boys, it was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was large and clean. The hotel had several guests staying but whilst we were in our room there was no noise at all from other rooms. The garden is lovely situated right beside the river, fields and hills. The surrounding area is beautiful.
Nothing it was lovely.

The staff were exceptionally well trained and extremely helpful. The room was spotless and well laid out with loads of natural sunlight from several windows. The food was prepared freshly and the choice was great, something to suit all.
Our room was approached and door was opened a few times while we stayed as there was room mix ups.
